The Jackabee has a special power. They have the ability to attract any human towards them and receive endless cuddles and treats. They are just too cute to resist! Saying no to their big brown eyes and floppy ears is unimaginable.
This dog is a cross between a Jack Russell Terrier and a Beagle. Both of the parent breeds are very energetic, and not surprisingly, so are their offspring. These little pups will want to play non-stop, and it is essential to take them out for daily exercise. The Jackabee especially loves to play with young children making them extremely fun family pets. Don’t worry though, once their energy has been burned away they will be more than happy to cuddle up for a movie.
One important aspect when raising this dog is that they need to be trained firmly. Due to their small size(15-30 pounds) and sweet nature, their owners often pamper them too much. This pampering will, unfortunately, result in the dog behaving aggressively and jumpy with humans outside the family. A properly trained Jackabee is friendly and happy to see everyone they come in contact with.
In general, these pups make amazing companions. Their athleticism combined with their gentle disposition makes them ideal for a day at the park, even if there are many other people and animals around. Don’t be surprised when you get compliments for how beautiful your Jackabee is!
