Pomapoo

The Pomapoo is an adorable little doggo that loves making new friends. These pups enjoy meeting new people and are a friend to all. This mixed breed only weighs between 5-15 pounds, so they are suitable for just about any household size. These are the kind of dogs that will follow their owners wherever they go and will detest being left alone at the house.  Pomapoo owners often have a second animal at home, which helps curb their loneliness when leaving them at the house.

This dog is a designer breed that was originally developed in the late 1990s in North America. They are a cross between the Pomeranian and the Toy Poodle, which are both tiny purebred dogs. Both of the parent breeds are intelligent, and their offspring certainly received this trait. The Pomapoo is a clever dog capable of learning all kinds of different tricks, especially if there are some treats involved.

This dog breed is also often referred to as ‘Pooranian’, ‘Pompoo’, and ‘Pomeroodle’. They are super affectionate with their family members and will love snuggling up on the couch with them. Their loving presence alone is very soothing, and they will be sure to put the people around them in a great mood. They have a happy demeanor that is always pleasant to be around.

The Pomapoo does not require too much exercise, and one walk a day should be enough outdoor time for them. Since they are so small, they can burn off most of their energy within the house without causing any damage, besides maybe a stolen sock here and there. They will enjoy playdates with other dogs, but it is, of course, recommended to pair them up with another dog of similar size for safety reasons. Having one of these dogs around is always fun, and their awesome personalities will place them in the spotlight whenever guests come over to the house. You may start to wonder if people are coming over to see you or your Pomapoo!
