Cedar Creek Park, located at 54WV+88 Cedar Creek, QLD, Australia, is a dog-friendly destination perfect for adventurous dog owners looking to enjoy nature with their furry friends. While there are no specific amenities listed, the park offers a rugged landscape that includes hiking trails like the Calytrix Circuit. However, be prepared for a challenging trek, as the terrain can be rocky and steep, which may not be suitable for dogs with mobility issues or owners concerned about footing. It's recommended to drive carefully to find the entryway, as it can be easy to miss, and parking is available only on the side of the road. Hiking through the park will certainly give both you and your dog a workout, with the circuit taking approximately 1 to 1.5 hours (about 6.6 km) depending on your pace and stops for your dog to explore. Keep a close eye on your dog near steep cliffs, as strong control is essential for their safety. Overall, if you're prepared for an invigorating trek and maintain caution along the more challenging parts, Cedar Creek Park can offer a rewarding experience for both you and your pet.

You'll have to drive below the speed limit to not pass the entry way so and you'll have to park on the side of the road. The trail is definitely not for dogs or people woth leg/foot issues. It can get very rocky and you have to scale up steep rocks. Ripley did love jumping up them and had no issues. I was afraid for the rocks she had to walk on but her paws where fine. When you come back down the steep rock climb make sure you have good control of your dog or else you'll fall down. When you reach the lookout maintain control or else they may walk straight off the cliff. It's definitely a workout for you and your dog. We did the Calytrix Circuit and there isn't a lot of signs so it may feel like your wondering through the bush aimlessly, but it's about an 1-1.5 hours around (6.6km) but we did stop so she could sniff.
