We loved this park! We went earlier this week, my dog was able to be off lead the whole time, you can follow a variety of trails depending how long you want to be there - we walked 7km in 2.5 hours, we weren’t rushing, lots of woodland but also open fields, there is a lake that dogs aren’t allowed in & if you have a sighthound there are squirrels so be careful - Callie tried to chase them then got the hump because they run up the tree 🌳 & she couldn’t find them haha. Really stunning place to go. Has a cafe, toilets & kids park too

If you go to the actual capstone country park, dogs have to stay on the lead. There’s a better suited dog park, by Capstone Ski Centre, turn into the ski centre but rather than go into the car park, keep going up the lane. There is a better dog park there
