Off leash dog Park, 57 Downey Dr, Doreen VIC 3754, Australia park-icon-wath
If you're looking for a great place to let your dog run off-leash, the official Off-Leash Dog Park at 57 Downey Dr in Doreen, VIC is a wonderful option! This fully fenced park features a spacious open field where your furry friend can play freely, along with comfortable seating areas and shaded spots to relax while your dog enjoys some exercise. There’s also a water fountain to keep your pup hydrated and ample free parking nearby. The park is wheelchair accessible, free to enter, and you’re welcome to bring along dog toys for some fun activities. However, keep in mind that the park may lack certain amenities like separate areas for big and small dogs, obstacles for playing, or designated swimming areas. User reviews highlight its lovely location and natural shade, but some mention the limited seating and a desire for additional stimuli for dogs. While there are no restrooms or lighting, it usually has good attendance during the late afternoon. Just be cautious if your dog has a strong reaction to livestock, as the park's surroundings include paddocks. Overall, it’s a good spot for a relaxed day out with your canine companion!

Lovely location on the fringe of a busy housing estate, with one side overlooking paddocks. The other direction faces suburbia at a short distance away. Trees give plenty of natural shade, but don't obscure the view of the park. Very limited seating area, also lacks much stimuli for dogs. If you plan on spending some time here I suggest a folding chair or picnic rug, plus plenty of fetch toys to keep your dog busy.

Access from two streets, parallel parking in each. Can be empty but usually good attendance late in day just before sunset (last 90mins). No loos or lighting, one covered area with seating. It’s my local and most attended.

dogs definitely loved the park but could be a lot better! Also if your dog reacts bad to cows or kangaroos don’t bring them here! A nice sitting area and a big space, never had a bad experience with another dog there either!
