Taylor St, Granby, MA 01033, United States park-icon-wath
The dog park located at Taylor St, Granby, MA, is an official space where dog owners can bring their pets to play and socialize. However, it seems to be mixed in its overall experience based on user reviews. While the designated dog park area itself is generally well-maintained, there are concerns regarding the behavior of other dog owners in the surrounding park. Many users have reported encountering irresponsible pet owners who allow their dogs to run off-leash in common areas, leading to disruptive interactions and anxiety for dogs that are on a leash or less socialized. Some visitors have noted incidents where their attempts to enjoy the park were marred by other dogs invading their space or owners taking too long to manage their pets, which can be frustrating. For those considering a visit, it might be beneficial to remain cautious, especially when navigating through the park's common areas where uncontrolled dogs are common. Overall, while the dog park offers a dedicated space for playing, it is essential for owners to be vigilant yet considerate while visiting.

Love this park, usually a nice place to bring your dog, aside from one time some elderly man brought his dog and allowed his dog to jump all over my dog as my dog was trying to get out of the car and continued to allow his dog to mount my dog and hump her the entire time while we were asking him to remove his dog so that my dog could go and play, I ended up not bringing her into the park because of him and was fprced to walk her alone on the trails instead of letting her play with other dogs and get social time.

The actual dog park portion is fine, I've never seen anyone use it. However, to get to it, you have to walk through a park full of the most irresponsible dog owners you'll meet. 90% of them will allow their untrained dogs to run off leash in the common areas without any recall. They will often come up barking at strange people and dogs, and the owners will always get close (after taking their sweet time walking over), the dog will bolt, and theyll never once even make contact with their pet. I've had this happen quite literally every single time I've come to this park.
