Arrived at this dog park today & couldn’t get in the gate. 2 ladies on a nearby bench told me I needed a Key Card to enter & that only Greentree residents were allowed to obtain one. They also told me an additional prerequisite to admission & obtaining a Key Card was some type of obedience class at The Dog Stop. It seemed like a very unwelcoming place, especially considering the fact I only live 3 miles from there & have a well-behaved dog. Wouldn’t go back there even if I were able to jump through all their hoops to gain admittance. Subsequently, I found an even better dog park nearby in Carnegie that was far more welcoming & had lots of fantastic dogs & owners to interact with. I’ll review that dog park under its own location & profile.
