Located in FMCG+33J Richlandtown, Pennsylvania, this official dog park offers a cozy and shaded environment for dogs of all sizes. While it may not be as expansive as the nearby Lenape Park, its charm lies in its seclusion, surrounded by trees that provide ample shade for playtime. The park features distinct areas for both large and small dogs, maintaining grassy grounds thanks to its less-trafficked nature. Dog owners will appreciate the amenities, including a concrete holding area with accessible water dishes and a selection of toys, like a tug rope that enhances the play experience. Additionally, poop bag dispensers are well-stocked, ensuring cleanliness is a priority. Accessing the park can be a bit tricky, as the parking lots are located about a block apart, and first-time visitors may find themselves misdirected by maps. The park is situated on borough property that includes a range of facilities, such as a macadam trail, a playground, courts for tennis, and a gathering hall—making it a multifaceted recreational spot. As you approach, keep an eye out for the dog park straight ahead when walking from the hall parking lot, and remember that yellow fencing visible from the baseball field is not part of the dog park. Whether you’re looking for a quick play session or a longer outing, this hidden gem offers a pleasant retreat for you and your furry friend.

Not as large as the Lenape Park dog park and hidden from view via two different parking areas that are a block apart. This seems to have allowed there to continue to be grass present in both large and small dog areas. Trees surround the fence closely of the large dog area for ample shade. Holding area between the two gates is a full concrete slab with the water dish that was full. There was a second water dish inside the large dog area that we used. Toys were scattered in the large dog area and there was one tug rope in the plastic milk crate basket in the holding area. Poop bag dispensers were full. The map through this app took me to a dead end road. The park sits on borough property that is a full block long and includes a macadam trail, baseball / softball diamond, playground, tennis courts, and a gathering hall with a large parking lot at the opposite end of the block from the dead end road. Parking on the dead end road requires you to turn left at the trail loop and head beyond a tree line to see the dog park to your left. Walking the block from the hall parking lot allows you to see the dog park straight ahead when you're about halfway there. The fencing with yellow tape through the top is the baseball field, not the dog park.
