11 Carnelian Court, Massey, Auckland 0614, New Zealand park-icon-wath
Located at 11 Carnelian Court in Massey, Auckland, this dog-friendly park offers a spacious environment for your furry friends to roam and enjoy. The park features well-formed gravel tracks and concrete paths, making it suitable for all-weather use. With multiple entrances, including one that leads through a charming bush area alongside a stream, dog owners can easily access different parts of the park. However, it's important to note that while the park is great for dogs to run around, it can get quite busy, especially on weekends. The park also features designated leash areas, making it appropriate for various dog behaviors. Keep in mind that there are often children playing nearby, which may be beneficial for confident dogs but could be overwhelming for more timid ones. User reviews highlight a vibrant atmosphere, especially during peak times with kids and sports activities, and it's advised to remain cautious of off-leash dogs with poor recall. On the upside, the park includes a playground for children and a water fountain for dogs up top, plus ample parking for visitors. Overall, it’s a wonderful space to enjoy with your pet, especially during quieter times!

There are lots of entrances into the park so can do a circuit or come and go from different places. The entrance from Rush Creek Drive goes through a small stand of bush with a stream. The track is gravel and well-formed. Paths within the park are concrete so all-weather use. It is a multi-use park with different leash rules for different areas (see photo). Often lots of children, so good for confident dogs but not so good for nervous dogs.

This park is great for a bit of space for your dog to run around BUT it does get really busy at times. Sports, weekends, lots of others walking their dogs. I have had too many occasions with off leash dogs running up to mine and they have zero recall so something to be wary of. Overall a great park when it’s a bit quieter and everyone is keeping their distance, a big playground up the top for kids, plus a water fountain up there that the dogs can drink from. There is quite a bit of parking here too
