It’s a shame that there are muddy areas and the council doesn’t maintain the park very well. It seems a bit old and neglected and not kept to the level of Cornwall Park for instance. Despite that the off-leash area is far enough away from Abbots Way to be safe and all the dogs seem to ignore the wetland in the middle and run around having fun. Doggy waste bags, the hide at the car park and drinking bowls are a nice touch.

Best dog park in Auckland! Nice walk around with an area for the dog to swim. Even a hose to wash your dog near the car park.

First visit this weekend. Omg. Amazing. Gumboots a necessity and doggo will get filthy. But what fun. Lots of water for those water loving types. Lots of muddy puddles for the paddlers. Dogs had a best time. Lots of dog friendly cafes nearby. Look

Large reserve with a lovely dog pond. Very good park for exercise. It's always busy with joggers as well as dog walkers. Many people are here more to exercise than socialise, so it's not the friendliest park, but most will greet you. The dog pond is the most social area.
