Located at 525 E Grand River Ave in Williamston, MI, this dog-friendly park offers a fantastic outdoor experience for both you and your furry friends. While there's no fenced area for dogs, multiple signs remind visitors to keep their pets on a leash. The park features open grassy fields at the beginning of the trail, transitioning into a forested area. A river flows through the woods, though the slope down to it can be steep, so keep an eye on your dogs to ensure they don't slip. Many users appreciate the park's diverse landscapes, which include spacious fields, wooded areas, and the river—ideal for exploration and play. Some visitors have noted that during quieter hours, they allow their dogs to run off-leash in the open areas, making it a great spot for training exercises like "sit" and "stay." With a big sledding hill that serves as an excellent training ground, this park has something for everyone, providing dogs with ample space to enjoy the great outdoors safely.

Love taking my dogs to this park. There’s no fenced in area for dogs, and there’s multiple signs for your dogs to always remain on leash. I really like the openness of the trails in the beginning, you’re walking through or beside the open grassy field until you get to the forest. There’s a river once you get to the forest area but it’s a steep slope down from the trail, so be careful your dogs don’t fall down! If I go in the middle of the day with my dogs no one’s there, so I’ll allow my dogs to run around off leash. They love playing in the river and running through the field. At the beginning of the trail there’s a big sledding hill where I practice off leash training with my dogs. I’ll have them sit and stay and I’ll walk a distance a way from them and make them wait. It’s nice that this park has a lot of different “areas” for us. Openness, forest, and river are what my dogs love.
