Great spot for a cool off with the pup. Make sure you have good control of your dog here because there are snakes around and no fences separating the river from the car park or bushland. On the hotter days there are often families here with their kids also looking for a swim. It is a Canoe launching area so there can be school classes and recreational canoers paddling here too.
